2XL Games Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Marketing/Communication intern to assist in growing the fan base of our latest mobile title through contests and online social interaction.

COMPENSATION:

Unpaid

TIME PERIODS:

Mon-Fri — some light weekend support may be required

Hours are flexible based on applicant’s schedule

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Researching. organizing, collaborating and implementing 2XL Games marketing
• 2XL webpage graphic art & web editing informative screens, text input
• Assisting with viral demo videos of our games on Youtube
• Facebook weekly viral marketing updates
• Twitter weekly viral marketing updates
• Creating and editing game screenshots and posting on web etc
• Racing and game related internet forums viral marketing
• UI assistance graphics when needed
• Help with support emails for our games when needed
• Rendering assistance & graphic kit assistance on simple art tasks when needed
• Assisting with the break room
• Organizing conference room and storage room.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Education

• Currently enrolled in or graduating from a degree related to marketing, communications or business

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to conceive, manage and prioritize multiple projects and support a number of constituencies simultaneously
• Ability to work proactively and effectively within a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong writing skills pertaining to news articles and blogging
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Familiar with Adobe Photoshop
• Familiar with creating Adobe PDF documents
• Ability to effectively relate to and build relationships with all levels of staff

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Familiar with game genre’s and related marketing
• Familiar with Facebook, Twitter and other uses of social media on the web
• Familiar with simple web development content management
• Love video games!
